Dr. Ankita Patro is a fellowship-trained Otolaryngology—Head & Neck surgeon and otologist/neurotologist, with expertise in hearing restoration, balance disorders, and skull base surgery. She joined the Dallas Ear Institute after completing advanced training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, one of the world’s premier centers for otology and neurotology. She cares for adult and pediatric patients with lateral skull base tumors including acoustic neuromas, cerebrospinal fluid leaks, encephaloceles, chronic ear disease, facial nerve disorders, cholesteatoma, and hearing loss.
Dr. Patro earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Stanford University before graduating with honors from Baylor College of Medicine. She completed her residency in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, followed by a two-year fellowship in Neurotology at The Otology Group at Vanderbilt.
